Frugal tip:
ReplyDeleteAbout halfway thru the month I go thru my coupon box and pull everything that is going to expire that month. I put them in the front of the box and flip thru them every time I walk into the grocery store so they are fresh in my mind. Then on the last day or two of the month, I go to the store and use the ones that are worth using before they expire. No more "oh man I could've had a free V-8, but that coupon expired yesterday" moments!
Thanks for having the giveaway!

My frugal tip is to go shopping at Sam's or any other warehouse with friends. That way, we can split the giant tub of ketchup and still get the savings. Since each of us are only feeding 2, this is ideal. Plus you split the cost of the membership!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tip is learn to coupon

My frugal tip is to never enter a store without a plan. I spend the most when I'm free-wheeling without a list. Know what you are going to get before you leave the house (and bring your coupons of course)!

My frugal tip. . .pick up whatever you were thinking about buying. Walk around the store with it (stores like Taget). By the time you are through the store you will realized how much you don't "need" the item and put it back. It like getting the rush of getting something new without having to pay for it or take it home and find a place for it!
ReplyDeleteLove the blog, Kayla, thanks for all the tips!
I always do my grocery shopping on Tuesday. At our grocery stores (all 2 of them) the new ad comes out on Tuesday and starts on Wednesday. So I can get last weeks deals on Tuesday and then if something I need is in next weeks ad I know I need to wait to buy it!
ReplyDeleteJust found you and I'm super excited!! I'll put you on my {private} blog FOR SURE!! Thanks... I hope I win!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite frugal tip is to pricematch at walmart--they will match other stores' prices if you bring them the ad paper as proof of the lower price. It saves time and gas since you don't have to go to as many stores.
